We are building a movement based Sunday School experience. Instead of sitting down in a classroom, children will move from one station to another. Stations include games, songs, story-time, and crafts. This type of Sunday School provides children a constructive way to move while providing child-friendly learning experiences. Parents are invited to walk with their children through the program. Sunday 10:35 – 11:20 am
Confirmation (6th – 9th Grade)
Salem’s confirmation ministry is an experience designed to nurture youth in the Christian faith. A creative program which seeks to meet youth where they are in life and helps them discover the joy of faith.Confirmation is built upon four basic Lutheran foundations — Bible study, worship, community, and service. We use these foundations to build a solid relationship with God, with friends and with the church. The class is held on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. Dinner: 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm; Class: 6:00 – 7:00 pm. (mid-September through mid-May).
This summer Salem youth will go on field trips and plan other fun activities to engage in friendship with one another and the wider community. Be sure to check out the calendar for upcoming events.
Vacation Bible School – June 25-29, 2018

Are you ready to venture onto an uncharted island where kids survive and thrive? This year’s Vacation Bible School theme is: “Shipwrecked: Rescued By Jesus”. Kids in grades Pre-K through 5th grade are welcome to attend. Using this curriculum, kids are anchored in the truth that Jesus carries them through life’s storms.
Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp is affectionately known as Camp Wapo. It is an integral part of our ministry to children and youth. The statistics are overwhelming, children who attend a faith-based summer camp are more likely to maintain a life-long relationship with the church. Salem encourages children to attend and supports them with scholarship assistance. Click here for more information about Camp Wapo. Seeds Weekend (grades 2-3) Friday, August 3 – Sunday, August 5. Youth Camp and Teens in Mission (T.I.M) Team (grades 9-12) Sunday, August 5 – Friday, August 10.
